SINGLES RETREAT INFORMATION
Location: Williams Bay, Wisconsin
Cost: $175.00 per person
We encourage you to use your gifts/talents/skills
for the Lord and serve the 2010 CCOCS retreat committee.
Please contact Channetta if you would
like to serve on any of the following committees:
Registration:
Handle distribution and receipt of all registration forms accept payments, maintain
records of who paid and issue receipts.
Activity:
Plan spiritual, fun, team building activities, games, movies etc.
Gift Bags:
Purchase gifts/bags using money from retreat registration (cost of gift bags have been included in registration)
Transportation:
We encourage every one to car pool. This committee will be the contact for organizing carpooling.
Public Relations/Marketing:
Responsible for getting retreat fliers and registration forms to congregations
to be posted in bulletins and announced to the congregation. Visit local congregations
and fellowship with singles at those congregations to inform them of the retreat.
Post information on Church of Christ websites (ex. acanet, cocgospel, etc.)
Snacks:
The facility will provide snacks on Thursday night, 3 meals on Friday, 3 meals
on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. This committee will purcha se snacks.
Theme:
Create a theme and coordinate it with a scripture; design the t-shirt; choose color
of t-shirt.
I thank God for allowing me to serve Him and strengthen the Body of Christ by serving
the singles ministry. God has improved my interpersonal, organizational, operational
and analytical skills by serving Him; these skills are necessary in the Body of
Christ and in the workforce.
